Hello!

These are the meeting notes from the last meeting. Going forward, I do hope to get these out sooner and having a secretary to take notes would be immensely helpful, not only for speed, but for quality of notes. If anyone has anything I have missed, please let me know and I will add it. Your attendance has been noted and greatly appreciated.

Important items:
First, the library is allowing us to host a general meeting Tuesday, Feb 25th at 6:00PM. Thank you, library! The virtual meeting is and will always be an option. It is important to me to be accessible, virtual meetings help accomplish accessibility.

There was a lot of interest in having a meeting with local farmers as soon as possible. This is a good idea and I am not opposed to it, but I still have a lot of tasks on my plate with the club already and cannot be in charge of this outreach. If there is interest in forming an event committee to execute this event, respond to this email and I can certainly contribute, I just can't be in charge of a project this major this early in revitalizing the club.

Other ongoing projects include table-ing at events in the spring/summer, further developing the website pages (including a resource page), developing an instagram page, general marketing, and youth outreach, particularly to those most affected by the current national administration. I will also say, we do not have major funding at the moment, so projects need to be cost-efficient until we have built ourselves up more.

We need an interim executive board! If you are interested, respond to this email or fill out this form (hopefully fixed). The following positions are open:
vice president
secretary
director of an event/election committee
assistant director of an event/election committee
general executive board member
marketing & outreach director
social media assistant manager (facebook)
social media manager (instagram)
website developer/maintenance (techy people)
content manager (helps write/maintain content for website)
It is more important to get people willing to try these positions if they are at all interested in fulfilling them in any capacity. I am open to having multiple people fulfill the roles together or to alternate responsibilities, should that be sought. Please, do not be intimidated by a title, even if it is something you've never tried before, training is available I am willing to meet with anyone interested.

Additionally, if you have requested a meeting with me and have not heard back, I am working on getting back to you. About 20 other people or groups are also on my books for asap. I will get back to you after knowing my schedule for doctor's appointments, of which I also may have a lot. In general, I am available up to a half hour's drive away from Greensboro immediately after I get off work at 4 or via zoom later in the weekday evenings and will get back to you as soon as I can, as I am excited to meet with all of you as well.
