Kickoff Meeting February 4, 2025

Caroline County Democratic Club held a Kickoff Meeting called by our brand-new President, Corinna Crenshaw. It was held on Tuesday, February 4th in the upstairs meeting room at the Central Library in Denton. Five people joined the meeting virtually. The attendees included Justin Butler, Maryland Democratic Party Staff, who is currently the Party Affairs Coordinator, based on the Eastern Shore.
This initial meeting included brainstorming ideas for engagement and the energy level was high. Everyone seemed highly interested and concerned with the current state of politics in the country. Many ideas for local engagement were mentioned. Some included coordinating with other local Democratic clubs, reaching out to farmers who are being impacted by new policies, calling our elected officials, attending public meetings and generally being supportive of neighbors in need. Several ideas were suggested about how to publicize the club and the Democratic Party locally. Corinna suggested meeting regularly on the fourth Tuesday of the month.
